Confidentiality

Everything that you discuss with your counsellor is confidential. Information will not be shared with third parties without your written consent.

Both physical and electronic safety measures are taken to ensure that your records remain both secure and confidential. If you have any questions about confidentiality related to the storage of your records, please ask your counsellor.

While a child's right to confidentiality is respected, children are strongly encouraged to share their feelings and concerns with their parents. Open communication between children and their parents is essential to helping children heal.

Fees

Wright Path believes in making counselling an affordable option for individuals and families. If you have an extended extended health care plan or benefits through your employer, it is likely that all or part of your counselling fees will be covered. If you have coverage to see a Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist, your invoice will reflect that you received this service with the providers' corresponding registration number. The fee in this case is $150.00/session.  Please note that counselling fees are not covered by OHIP. We accept cash, credit or debit at the end of your session. Following your session, you will be given an invoice so you can seek reimbursement from your insurance company if necessary. Please note, we do not directly bill insurance companies, so seeking reimbursement is your responsibility.
